At the core of our activity is the idea of &#8220;community.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Our programs and projects are divided into four areas of activity: rural economic development, entrepreneurship and social economy, strengthening the capacity of civil society organizations, and community development and good governance.<\/p>\n<p>We have vast experience in:\u00a0project management \u2013 accumulated through writing and coordinating projects in each of the European funding cycles: 2007-2013, 2014-2020, through POSDRU, POCU, PNDR, Erasmus+, etc.; strategic planning; rural economic development; entrepreneurship and social economy; and human capital development \u2013 designing programs based on real needs identified at the grassroots level, with a focus on spillover effects and sustainability.<\/p>\n<p>We are members of: SECoP (Social Economy Community of Practice), a national community of practice developed by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection and the World Bank; ECoPP (European Community of Practice on Partnership), a European community of practice created by the European Commission; the Board of Directors of the Rural Net Network, a network of NGOs active in community development; the Economic and Social Council of Romania through two members in specialized committees and one member in the plenary of CES. We are the founders of the national network of Local Development Agents, which includes over 100 active individuals across various municipalities, and the founders\/promoters of the COOPNET network, which includes over 50 entities, NGOs, and Local Action Groups (LAGs) nationwide.<\/p>\n<p>Our 30 years of activity in these fields, along with our legitimacy and national reputation, motivate us to continue our projects and increase their impact toward the sustainability of the communities we serve.<\/p>\n<p>The Civitas Foundation has the idea of \u200b\u200b&#8221;community&#8221; at the center of all its activities. We constantly dedicate time and energy to create innovative solutions in the area of \u200b\u200bentrepreneurship, social economy and knowledge transfer for the benefit of communities.
